Peaches and Cream Overnight Oatmeal

It's the worst of the summer heat right now and cool refreshing breakfast ready to go in the morning is just what I need as I dash out the door. This Peaches and Cream Overnight Oatmeal is the perfect solution.

Peaches are in season right now and the perfect sweet bit of sunshine in the morning to get you going. Making this the night before takes only a minute or two, but is worth it to have this waiting for you in the morning.

Jan's Tip.. I substituted Cinnamon Chips for the walnuts in my photos.. because well, I was out of the nuts when I thought i had some, but wow, it sure turned out tasty! If you don't care for nuts, it sure added a wonderful addition, but pumpkin kernals would be wonderful too!

Peaches and Cream Overnight Oatmeal
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup Oats
  • 1 cup Milk or Cream
  • 1 cup Greek Vanilla Yogurt
  • 1 pitted and diced Peach
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 2 Tablespoons garnish Walnuts chopped or Cinnamon Chips
Instructions:
Mix all together except in mixing bowl, dish into 2 airtight containers in refrigerator 8 hours or over night.Serve with chopped walnuts

Yield: 2 Servings
