Slow Cooker Glazed Green Beans with Bacon

Greenbeans with bacon and dressed with a glaze of butter, garlic, soy sauce and a touch of brown sugar will make your holiday table a winner for sure! No more green bean casserole once you've tasted this dish!

You can easily make this dish in the oven or stovetop, but with a busy holiday oven and stove full of other dishes, this is one you can easily put together in the slowcooker and have ready to serve when ever you want, making this another reason to set aside the greenbean casserole!

When I made this for my husband for the first time, he just kept saying.. mmmm. mmmn. and make this again.. this is fantastic!  this one is a keeper for sure! Husband endorsed!

This recipe orignally calls for canned green beans, but you also can easily use fresh or frozen! I love how versitle the recipe is! Feel free to play around with it a bit and make it just right for you! Cut down on the brown sugar or use the Splenda brown sugar.. again.. play around with this!
If you bake it in the oven, I'd under cook the bacon slightly maybe to just under the crispiest stage, add it to the green beans, and then bake it for 30 minutes or so, and the bacon will continue to cook with the green beans.
