I am sharing 2 recipes for making your own Pumpkin Spice Creamer, so you can still enjoy the flavor of the season, but save money on those expensive coffee shop or store bought versions that are so popular.
Liquid Creamer: The first recipe is for a real cream, liquid pumpkin spice creamer. You can make your own Pumpkin Spice Creamer to store in your refrigerator, and saves money on those name brand ones! Wouldn't a mason jar of this be so cute as a gift ?
Perfect for Pumpkin Steamers! OH.. and for the kiddos, or like myself and my daughter that don't drink coffee? This liquid creamer is perfect for Pumpkin Steamers!! Just add some of this to some milk and heat up! Ok. I have a Mr. Coffee Hot Cocoa Motion Machine (not sure they make them any more, but we love ours) and it heats and froths it up with bubbles! (sigh..perfection!). These steamers are just HEAVEN!!
Powdered Creamer: The second recipe is a shelf stable powdered pumpkin spice creamer, for you to stir into your favorite warm fall and winter drinks! You can store this delicious creamer in your cupboard, in your desk drawer at work (hide it from your coworkers!), give it as gifts with a cute mug or coffee shop gift card for an inexpensive holiday gift... There is just so much versatility with this one!
Jan's Tip: the powdered creamer recipe doesn't contain any added sweetener to it like the liquid one does, It is creamer, and spices. If you would like to mix in some sweetener, try mixing in some powedered sugar. say 1/4 cup at first to the recipe, and increase it from there. Of course any sweetener that measures like sugar can be added as well, from sugar, to a sugar free sweetener, so play around!
Feel free to play around with the amounts on the ingredients or what you add yourself! Use these as a base recipe, and then make it your own! Want it less sweet? or more pumpkiny?? go for it!!
Let's get to the recipes!
